Our Verdict
For merchants needing to offer highly customizable product options and variants, Avis Product Options, Variants appears to be the superior choice, backed by a large and positive user base. The high rating and numerous reviews inspire confidence in its capabilities and reliability. However, merchants primarily concerned with decluttering their storefront by automatically hiding sold-out items will find Veil ‑ Hide Sold Variants to be a more focused and potentially easier-to-use solution.
If minimizing complexity and directly addressing the issue of unavailable products is the priority, Veil is the recommended option. Its rule-based hiding system offers a practical solution for maintaining a polished and user-friendly shopping experience. However, it is crucial to note the significant difference in review volume, suggesting Avis Product Options, Variants has a more established track record.
