AW Store Locator vs LocateItfor Shopify (2026)
AW Store Locator and LocateIt are both Shopify apps designed to help merchants manage and display store locations. However, based on the available data, they cater to significantly different needs and offer vastly different levels of established functionality. AW Store Locator is a well-regarded app with a perfect rating and 36 reviews, indicating a degree of user satisfaction and proven functionality. It positions itself as a solution for managing multiple locations and displaying dealer stores, emphasizing customization and auto-detection of location. In contrast, LocateIt has no ratings or reviews, suggesting it is either a very new app or one that has not yet resonated with users. Given its established features like unlimited store locations, customizability, and auto-detect location, AW Store Locator appears to target larger businesses or those with complex location management needs, such as franchises or businesses with multiple retail partners. The import/export features also suggest a focus on handling large datasets of store locations. LocateIt, with its lack of information, is difficult to assess. A merchant would need to heavily invest time to confirm basic functionality.

Our Verdict
Based on the available information, AW Store Locator is the significantly safer and more feature-rich choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its positive reviews and described features indicate a functional and customizable solution for managing multiple store locations. Merchants needing advanced features like auto-detection or dealing with a large number of locations should strongly consider AW Store Locator. LocateIt, due to the absence of any ratings, reviews, or detailed feature descriptions, represents a high-risk option. While it *might* be a viable solution, merchants would need to invest significant time in testing and verifying its functionality before committing to it.
Common Questions
