AW Store Locator vs RetailLink ‑ Store Attributionfor Shopify (2026)
AW Store Locator and RetailLink - Store Attribution both aim to connect online shoppers with physical locations, but they serve distinct purposes and target different merchant types. AW Store Locator focuses on providing a highly customizable and feature-rich store locator solution for managing multiple business locations and displaying them on a map. Its strengths lie in its ease of customization, unlimited location support, and auto-detection of customer location. It seems best suited for businesses directly managing their own network of stores or dealerships. RetailLink - Store Attribution, on the other hand, emphasizes bridging the gap between online and in-store sales without disrupting existing retailer relationships. Its focus is on attributing online orders to specific retail partners, allowing consumers to support their preferred local stores while still enjoying the convenience of online shopping. This app appears geared toward businesses that sell their products through a network of independent retailers and want to maintain those relationships while offering online sales.

Our Verdict
For merchants with a direct-to-consumer model and multiple company-owned locations or dealerships, AW Store Locator provides a robust and customizable solution to help customers find their nearest store. Its unlimited location support and auto-detection features make it a strong choice for businesses prioritizing direct customer engagement and straightforward store management. However, if a business relies on a network of independent retailers and wants to maintain those relationships while enabling online sales, RetailLink - Store Attribution is the superior option. It facilitates order attribution to specific retailers, ensures they receive credit for online sales, and strengthens the bond between consumers and their preferred local stores. RetailLink is less about simply finding a location and more about allocating an online purchase to a specific storefront.
