Awesome Facebook Product Feed vs Selling Pointfor Shopify (2026)
Awesome Facebook Product Feed and Selling Point address entirely different needs within the Shopify ecosystem. Awesome Facebook Product Feed focuses on marketing and advertising by creating and managing product feeds for various platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok, and Pinterest. It targets merchants looking to expand their reach through dynamic and retargeting ads. Its strength lies in automating product feed creation, handling multi-currency, multi-language, and multi-location inventory. Selling Point, on the other hand, is a specialized app addressing gift card and store credit migration. It helps merchants transition from other platforms or POS systems to Shopify by importing existing gift card balances. The core difference between the two apps is their functionality. Awesome Facebook Product Feed is all about product feed management for advertising, while Selling Point streamlines the migration and management of gift cards and store credits. Awesome Facebook Product Feed boasts features like automatic feed updates and image optimization for ads, which are absent in Selling Point. Selling Point provides bulk import and generation tools designed to manage gift cards, features not relevant for Awesome Facebook Product Feed. The choice between the two depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs: advertising optimization or gift card migration.

Our Verdict
The choice between Awesome Facebook Product Feed and Selling Point hinges on a merchant's specific requirements. If the goal is to enhance advertising campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, or other platforms through dynamic product feeds, Awesome Facebook Product Feed is the clear winner. The automated updates, multi-currency support, and image optimization features are highly beneficial for merchants engaging in extensive online advertising.
Conversely, if a merchant is migrating to Shopify from another platform and needs to transfer existing gift card balances or store credits, Selling Point is the indispensable tool. It streamlines the migration process, saving time and resources that would otherwise be spent on manual data entry or custom development. Selling Point is really only suitable for merchants needing gift card or store credit functionality.
