AWPlayer vs Conversion Bear Trust Badgesfor Shopify (2026)
AWPlayer and Conversion Bear Trust Badges, while both falling under the 'Design elements' category on Shopify, serve vastly different purposes. AWPlayer focuses on enabling merchants to sell and showcase audio tracks, offering features like automatic audio sample generation and waveform visualization. It caters specifically to businesses selling music, sound effects, or other audio content. Conversely, Conversion Bear Trust Badges aims to build customer trust and increase conversions by displaying security badges and payment icons. It targets a broader range of e-commerce businesses looking to enhance their website's credibility and reassure potential buyers. The feature sets hardly overlap; one deals with audio presentation, while the other deals with psychological triggers to improve conversion rates. AWPlayer struggles with a low rating of 3.3/5 based on only 5 reviews, indicating potential usability issues or a lack of robust customer support. This low feedback volume raises serious concerns about its reliability compared to alternatives. Conversion Bear Trust Badges, in contrast, boasts a perfect 5/5 rating from a substantial 374 reviews, suggesting high user satisfaction and a proven track record of delivering its promised benefits. This significant difference in rating and review volume makes Conversion Bear Trust Badges a statistically safer and more reliable app choice for merchants who want a proven conversion rate booster with minimal risk of technical issues or poor customer support.

Our Verdict
For merchants selling audio tracks and albums, AWPlayer may seem like a relevant solution at first glance, offering audio sample generation and format compatibility. However, its extremely low rating and review count should raise serious red flags. The app appears to not have been well received by the few merchants who used it. Consider alternative audio player apps.
On the other hand, for the vast majority of e-commerce store owners looking to improve conversions and build trust, Conversion Bear Trust Badges is the clear winner. Its high rating, substantial review volume, and focus on easily implemented trust signals make it a safer and more reliable choice for enhancing website credibility and driving sales.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Conversion Bear Trust Badges appears simpler to set up due to its 1-click copy-paste functionality for badge placement. AWPlayer likely involves more complex configuration related to audio file uploads and player embedding.
Which app offers better customer support?
Based on the review count and rating, Conversion Bear Trust Badges likely has superior customer support due to its higher overall user satisfaction. The very low review volume of AWPlayer makes it impossible to tell.
Can I use both apps on my store?
Yes, you could use both apps, but their functionalities are distinct. If you sell audio, you might consider an audio player app (though perhaps not AWPlayer). Conversion Bear Trust Badges benefits almost any e-commerce store, even if it is selling audio.
Does AWPlayer handle audio file hosting?
The app description does not explicitly state whether it handles audio file hosting. The merchant may need to host audio files elsewhere and integrate with AWPlayer.
How do I know which trust badges to use with Conversion Bear Trust Badges?
Conversion Bear Trust Badges offers a wide selection of badges. Consider badges that reflect your payment methods, security certifications, and return policies. A/B testing different badge combinations can help determine which resonates best with your audience.
