B: B2B Lock, Login, Hide Price vs Locksmithfor Shopify (2026)
B: B2B Lock, Login, Hide Price appears to be a comprehensive solution specifically tailored for B2B and wholesale merchants, offering a wide array of features like price hiding, content locking, and checkout restrictions. Its strengths lie in its granular control over access, allowing merchants to restrict content based on various conditions like customer tags, IP addresses, and location. The integration with other BSS B2B Suite apps suggests a cohesive ecosystem for B2B functionalities. In contrast, Locksmith, while also focused on access control, is presented with less detailed information, making it harder to directly compare the specific feature set. It lacks explicit mention of B2B features, checkout locking or IP address controls. The rating and number of reviews suggest that 'B: B2B Lock' enjoys a higher user satisfaction and wider adoption. 'B: B2B Lock' also focuses on checkout rules specific to Shopify Plus, which is a feature that Locksmith doesn't list. Also, a key advantage of 'B: B2B Lock' is its 'Rule Builder' which simplifies the creation of complex lock rules. It's targeted towards merchants who need advanced rules. On the other hand, the description for Locksmith lacks this level of detail, focusing more broadly on controlling access to various elements of the store. Without deeper insight on Locksmith's rule building capabilities, it is difficult to determine if it is as advanced as 'B: B2B Lock.'
