B2B Bulk Order / CSV Upload vs Discountifyfor Shopify (2026)
B2B Bulk Order / CSV Upload and Discountify, while both listed under the 'Wholesale' category on Shopify, serve very different purposes. B2B Bulk Order focuses on streamlining the ordering process for wholesale buyers by allowing them to quickly upload orders via CSV/XLSX or copy/paste SKUs/UPCs. It's geared towards merchants who need to facilitate bulk orders and provide efficient order management tools, including product catalog exports and admin quick order creation. Discountify, on the other hand, concentrates on automating discounts to boost sales and customer loyalty, offering features like first-order discounts, cart discounts, tiered discounts, and birthday discounts. Discountify aims to automate discount strategies across various scenarios to enhance customer acquisition and retention. It integrates with Shopify to deliver automated sales and personalized deals. While B2B Bulk Order is for merchants facilitating large volume purchases with simplified ordering, Discountify targets all merchants looking to implement automated discount strategies to increase revenue and customer engagement through strategic promotions. They both aim to improve wholesale strategies but from opposite ends: the wholesale *ordering* side vs. the wholesale *incentivization* side.
