Choosing the right request-a-quote app for your Shopify store in 2026 depends significantly on your risk tolerance and specific needs. "YouQuote: Request a Quote Form" presents a compelling choice due to its perfect 5-star rating and 27 reviews, suggesting a user-friendly and reliable experience. It directly addresses the need for a request-a-quote form, implying simplicity and ease of setup. Our Verdict
For most Shopify merchants in 2026 needing a basic request-a-quote functionality, "YouQuote: Request a Quote Form" is the safer and more reliable choice given its established positive reputation and user feedback. Its lack of B2B specific features isn't a drawback if the merchant's needs are simple quote requests.
However, if your business operates primarily in the B2B space and requires features like price hiding and direct quote-to-order conversion, and you are comfortable with the risk of using a new app with no reviews, "B2B Request Quote & Hide Price" might be worth exploring *after* thorough testing and careful evaluation of their customer support responsiveness. Consider it a potentially powerful tool, but proceed with caution until a user base develops.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the available information and the lack of user data on "B2B Request Quote & Hide Price", "YouQuote: Request a Quote Form" is likely easier to set up due to its established user base and presumed simplicity. "B2B Request Quote & Hide Price" may have a steeper learning curve because of its more comprehensive feature set and potential lack of readily available documentation or community support.
Which app is better for businesses selling wholesale?
"B2B Request Quote & Hide Price" appears better suited for wholesale businesses. It offers the ability to hide prices from regular customers and negotiate individually with wholesale buyers, allowing for tiered pricing and bulk discounts. "YouQuote" may work, but would lack price hiding which is a key feature for wholesale.
Which app provides better customer support?
It's difficult to determine which app provides better customer support without user feedback on "B2B Request Quote & Hide Price". "YouQuote: Request a Quote Form", with its positive reviews, likely has a more established support system. It is critical to test support for “B2B Request Quote & Hide Price” before fully committing to it.
Can both apps handle multiple quote requests from a single customer?
The description of "B2B Request Quote & Hide Price" explicitly states that customers can quote multiple products at once. The description of "YouQuote" doesn't specifically mention this functionality, but it's a common feature for quote apps and is likely included, but should be confirmed.
Which app is more affordable?
Pricing information is not provided for either app, making it impossible to compare affordability. Merchants should check the Shopify App Store listings for each app to understand their pricing plans and any associated fees.
