B2B Wholesale Hub vs DPO Dynamic Product Optionsfor Shopify (2026)
B2B Wholesale Hub and DPO Dynamic Product Options both address pricing on Shopify, but cater to distinct needs. B2B Wholesale Hub is designed for merchants running both B2B and B2C operations, providing tools to manage wholesale pricing, customer segmentation, and essential B2B features like net terms and quick order forms. Its strength lies in managing wholesale operations within a single Shopify store. DPO Dynamic Product Options, on the other hand, focuses on providing dynamic pricing options based on product configurations and customer choices. While the product description is limited, the app title and category indicate it allows for more complex pricing scenarios dependent on product customizations. It appears to be geared towards stores offering highly configurable products where pricing is not standardized. While both apps touch on pricing, their approaches and target audiences significantly differ. B2B Wholesale Hub prioritizes wholesale management, while DPO Dynamic Product Options likely emphasizes customizable product pricing.

Our Verdict
B2B Wholesale Hub is the clear choice for Shopify merchants who sell both to individual consumers (B2C) and wholesale customers (B2B) and require features like customer segmentation, net terms, and volume discounts. It's a comprehensive solution for managing a wholesale business within Shopify.
DPO Dynamic Product Options, based on its name and limited description, likely serves merchants who offer highly configurable products and need to dynamically adjust pricing based on the options customers select. If you sell products with numerous choices (e.g., size, color, materials) that impact the final price, DPO is probably the better solution.
Common Questions
Which app is better for offering volume discounts?
B2B Wholesale Hub explicitly includes volume discounts and tiered pricing as a key feature, making it better suited for offering discounts based on quantity purchased.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, but it depends on feature overlap and potential conflicts. If you need B2B features and dynamic product options, you'll need to carefully evaluate if they interfere with each other. Thorough testing is crucial.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
While not explicitly stated, DPO Dynamic Product Options is likely easier to set up if its functionality is limited to dynamic options only. B2B Wholesale Hub, due to its broader feature set for wholesale management, might require a steeper learning curve.
Which app offers better customer support?
The provided data doesn't specify customer support quality. Examine app store comments for mentions of support responsiveness and helpfulness for both apps before making a decision.
Which app is more suitable for a brand new Shopify store?
If you're starting with a simple product line and primarily targeting individual consumers, neither app may be immediately necessary. If you plan to offer wholesale pricing from the beginning, B2B Wholesale Hub could be considered. If your core offering relies on product configuration with variable pricing, explore DPO. Generally, start with the simplest setup possible and add complexity as needed.
