B2B & Wholesale Solution vs DataChamp Order Export XLS/CSVfor Shopify (2026)
B2B & Wholesale Solution and DataChamp Order Export XLS/CSV, while both listed under the 'Finances' category in the Shopify app store, cater to vastly different needs. B2B & Wholesale Solution is positioned as an all-in-one platform for managing wholesale B2B operations alongside (or separate from) retail B2C. Its focus is on facilitating custom pricing, discounts, and payment terms to streamline B2B interactions and improve the wholesale buying experience. In contrast, DataChamp Order Export XLS/CSV is designed for data management and reporting, enabling merchants to export and analyze various types of Shopify data in customizable formats. DataChamp provides functionality for scheduled automated reporting across products, orders, and customers. This includes advanced filtering, custom columns and support for metafields, a feature not highlighted in the B2B & Wholesale Solution. It excels in providing data accessibility and flexibility for businesses requiring in-depth analysis, ERP integrations, or streamlined accounting processes. The key difference is that B2B & Wholesale Solution focuses on improving the B2B buyer's *experience* in the store, while DataChamp concentrates on manipulating the store's *data* behind the scenes.

Our Verdict
For merchants looking to establish or improve their B2B wholesale operations with tailored pricing, registration, and payment terms, B2B & Wholesale Solution is the superior choice. Its feature set is directly aligned with the needs of managing wholesale customers. However, if a merchant's primary need revolves around extracting and analyzing data from their Shopify store for accounting, ERP integration, or business intelligence purposes, then DataChamp Order Export XLS/CSV is the more appropriate tool.
Although both apps have a 5/5 rating, DataChamp has a significantly higher number of reviews, suggesting broader adoption and potentially more community support. If a business doesn't need any explicit B2B features, but needs complex Shopify data extraction and customisation capabilities, DataChamp appears to be a powerful choice. However, if your business is focused on B2B operations, the B2B & Wholesale Solution app is the obvious choice.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up for a complete beginner?
It's difficult to determine without user testing. However, B2B & Wholesale Solution likely provides guided onboarding for B2B features, while DataChamp may require more technical knowledge to configure data exports.
Can B2B & Wholesale Solution export order data like DataChamp?
The description of B2B & Wholesale Solution does not explicitly mention data export capabilities. It's likely focused on managing the B2B sales process within Shopify, not exporting data for external analysis.
Does DataChamp offer any B2B-specific features?
While DataChamp can export customer data, which could be used to identify B2B clients, it doesn't offer specific features like custom pricing or registration forms tailored for B2B.
Which app integrates more easily with accounting software?
DataChamp, with its focus on customizable data exports in CSV/Excel formats, is likely easier to integrate with accounting software that supports importing these formats.
Which app is more suitable for a small business just starting with wholesale?
If the small business *needs* B2B-specific functionality, the B2B & Wholesale Solution will be more beneficial. Otherwise, neither app is inherently better for a 'small' business.
