Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with recovering lost sales from out-of-stock products and building anticipation for restocks, B2stock: Back In Stock notify is the clear choice. Its focus on email notifications, pre-orders, and customization options will directly impact customer retention and revenue recovery. However, if a merchant is operating multiple Shopify stores and requires robust, real-time inventory and product synchronization across all locations, Multi‑Store Sync Power is the superior solution. Its ability to automate inventory updates, product creation, and multi-location management will save significant time and effort.
The choice depends heavily on the merchant's business model. B2stock is a niche solution for stockout recovery, while Multi‑Store Sync Power is a comprehensive solution for multi-store management. If a merchant needs both functions, integrating Multi‑Store Sync Power with a separate back-in-stock notification tool might be needed if the syncing tool doesn't offer the email features. However, Multi‑Store Sync Power is best suited if they need to keep items in stock across different sites and manage those different inventories.
