Back In Buzz vs REZ Back In Stock Notify Mefor Shopify (2026)
Back In Buzz and REZ Back In Stock Notify Me both aim to help Shopify merchants manage out-of-stock products by notifying customers when items are restocked. Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking a simple, easy-to-use restock notification app and prioritizing a quick setup with basic functionality, Back In Buzz *could* be an option. However, the lack of reviews is a significant risk. REZ Back In Stock Notify Me is clearly the more established and feature-rich app. It is better suited for merchants who want to not only notify customers about restocked items but also capitalize on pre-orders and backorders, leveraging analytics for better inventory management and revenue generation. The 5/5 rating with 44 reviews suggests a high level of user satisfaction, making it the safer and more compelling choice for most merchants.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Back In Buzz claims to have a simple setup and seamless Shopify integration, suggesting it may be easier to set up than REZ Back In Stock Notify Me, given its more limited feature set. However, without user reviews for Back In Buzz, this is speculative.
Which app is better for generating revenue from out-of-stock items?
REZ Back In Stock Notify Me is definitively better for generating revenue from out-of-stock items because it supports pre-orders, backorders, and presales with deposit or partial payment options. Back In Buzz only sends restock notifications.
Which app provides more in-depth analytics?
REZ Back In Stock Notify Me offers more detailed analytics, including tracking demand, forecasting inventory, and measuring revenue. Back In Buzz only provides basic insights on customer engagement with restock alerts.
