Our Verdict
Based on available data, Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter is the clear choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its proven track record, demonstrated by the high rating and substantial number of reviews, provides significantly more confidence in its functionality and support. It's particularly suitable for merchants who want to actively manage customer perception of stock levels and leverage scarcity to drive sales.
Back In Stock | Stock Alert, with its lack of reviews, presents a significant risk. While it might offer basic stock alerting features, the absence of user feedback makes it impossible to assess its reliability. Unless a merchant has a very specific and unusual need for a bare-bones stock alerting system and is comfortable being a guinea pig, Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter is the far safer and likely more effective option.
