Our Verdict
Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter is the better choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026, given its larger user base (evidenced by the higher number of reviews) and its ability to immediately impact conversion rates by creating a sense of urgency. It's especially useful for merchants selling products with limited availability or those running promotions with limited-time offers.
Back In Stock WhatsApp Alerts is a niche solution best suited for merchants who specifically want to leverage WhatsApp for sales recovery and building a direct communication channel with customers. While promising, the extremely low number of reviews raises concerns about its reliability and potential long-term support. If WhatsApp marketing is a core strategy, it might be worth testing; otherwise, Hey!Scarcity provides a more proven and broadly applicable solution.
