Back In Stock,Notify Me: Kbite vs stockinstore Find in Storefor Shopify (2026)
Back In Stock,Notify Me: Kbite and stockinstore Find in Store are both Shopify apps aiming to improve sales through stock alerts, but they cater to vastly different merchant needs. Back In Stock,Notify Me: Kbite focuses on notifying customers when out-of-stock items become available again, recovering potentially lost sales. It is clearly a well-established option, indicated by its extremely high rating and large number of reviews. stockinstore Find in Store, on the other hand, is designed for retailers with physical stores. It aims to drive online customers to brick-and-mortar locations by displaying in-store stock availability on product pages. stockinstore provides a range of omnichannel solutions, including click & collect and ship-from-store functionality ( likely via Order Management System, OMS). Its core value is integrating online and offline sales channels. This is contrasted by the singular focus of Back In Stock,Notify Me: Kbite, which operates entirely within the online store environment. The 'Not a One-click Install' warning from stockinstore also suggests a more complex setup, fitting its more extensive feature set. Given the contrasting features and available data, it's clear that Back In Stock,Notify Me: Kbite is designed for purely online retailers while stockinstore Find in Store is targeting those with both online and offline presences.

Our Verdict
For online-only stores seeking a simple and effective solution for recovering lost sales from out-of-stock items, Back In Stock,Notify Me: Kbite is the clear choice. Despite the lack of ratings/reviews, its feature set is specifically tailored to omnichannel retail needs. Merchants considering stockinstore should proceed cautiously due to the lack of user reviews and the 'Not a One-click Install' warning.
