Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Both apps emphasize ease of use. Backup Labs highlights its automated backups, suggesting a hands-off approach after initial setup. ∞ Password Page + Lock Pages boasts zero theme edits, implying a straightforward installation process. Without further user reviews comparing onboarding, it is hard to determine definitively which is easier to setup.
Does Backup Labs offer version control of my backups?
The provided description of Backup Labs does not explicitly mention version control. It focuses on daily automatic backups and one-click restore, implying full store snapshots but not necessarily incremental versioning.
Can ∞ Password Page + Lock Pages be used to create a completely private Shopify store?
While ∞ Password Page + Lock Pages can lock individual pages, it doesn't natively password-protect the entire store in the same way Shopify's built-in password page does. It fills the gap by password-protecting pages that the Shopify feature does not address.
Is the data backed up by Backup Labs GDPR compliant?
Backup Labs states that data is securely stored in Switzerland, which generally has strong data protection laws. While not explicitly stating GDPR compliance, storing data in Switzerland is a positive indicator, but merchants should verify compliance directly with Backup Labs.
How frequently does ∞ Password Page + Lock Pages update its app?
The provided data does not contain information about the app's update frequency. This information would be found in the app's changelog or support documentation.
