Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with protecting their product, order, and customer data through automated backups, Backup & Restore Data | GUA *could* be an option. However, its complete lack of reviews makes it a risky choice compared to more established solutions. The lack of social proof is a major concern, and potential users should proceed with extreme caution and thorough testing.
Conversely, if a merchant's immediate need is to migrate gift cards or store credits from another platform to Shopify, Selling Point is the clear choice. Its high rating, positive reviews, and specific focus on this task make it a reliable and efficient solution. Selling Point is the better option for merchants with significant gift card data requiring migration or looking to leverage gift cards for marketing and sales.
