BarcodeMan Barcode Labels vs SKUGenfor Shopify (2026)
BarcodeMan Barcode Labels and SKUGen both cater to Shopify merchants needing barcode and label solutions, but their strengths lie in different areas. BarcodeMan positions itself as a user-friendly label designer emphasizing visual customization without requiring technical skills. Its focus is on creating visually appealing and information-rich labels linked to product data, including metafields and international pricing. SKUGen, on the other hand, emphasizes efficient SKU and barcode generation, particularly for stores with growing catalogs. It streamlines the process of creating and managing SKUs, protecting against duplicates and offering bulk barcode creation for retail environments. The primary difference lies in their core functionalities. BarcodeMan excels in label design and customization, offering a drag-and-drop interface and the ability to incorporate various elements like images, QR codes, and rich data attributes. SKUGen concentrates on SKU and barcode generation, providing automatic SKU generation with duplicate checks and bulk barcode creation for GTIN, UPC, EAN, and Code128 formats. Therefore, BarcodeMan is best for stores that prioritize design and data linkage for their labels, whereas SKUGen serves stores needing efficient SKU and barcode management for larger product catalogs.
