Bargain Buddy: AI Negotiation vs Singleton | Advanced Discountsfor Shopify (2026)
Bargain Buddy: AI Negotiation and Singleton | Advanced Discounts are both pricing apps aiming to increase sales for Shopify merchants, but they employ drastically different approaches. Bargain Buddy focuses on personalized, AI-driven negotiation, allowing customers to make offers and receive customized discounts in real-time. This approach is designed to extract the maximum possible value from each customer by identifying their willingness to pay. Singleton | Advanced Discounts, in contrast, offers a broader suite of tools for creating automatic or code-based discounts based on various factors like quantity, cart value, or customer segmentation. It focuses on motivating customers through readily visible discounts and promotional elements. The primary difference lies in their automation and personalization strategies. Bargain Buddy uses AI to negotiate individual deals, while Singleton automates discount application based on pre-defined rules. This makes Bargain Buddy potentially more effective for high-value items or stores where personalized pricing is desirable. Singleton, on the other hand, offers a wider range of discount strategies and targeting options, potentially better suited for stores seeking to drive overall sales volume and attract different customer segments with diverse offers. The number of reviews (2 vs 31) suggests Singleton has a more established user base and potentially a track record to assess compared to the limited feedback available for Bargain Buddy.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to optimize pricing on individual products and are comfortable with AI-driven negotiation, Bargain Buddy: AI Negotiation could be a valuable tool. The focus on personalization and extracting maximum value from each customer makes it suitable for stores selling higher-priced items. However, the low number of reviews should be considered.
Singleton | Advanced Discounts is a better choice for merchants looking for a comprehensive discount solution to boost overall sales volume. Its wide range of discount options and customer segmentation capabilities make it ideal for stores with diverse product offerings and customer bases. The higher number of reviews also provides more confidence in its performance and reliability.
Common Questions
Which app offers a free trial?
Neither app description explicitly mentions a free trial. Users should check the app listing directly on the Shopify App Store for the most up-to-date information.
Can I use both apps at the same time?
While technically possible, it is likely not advisable to use both apps concurrently, as they employ conflicting discount strategies. Using both may confuse customers and negatively impact profit margins.
Which app is easier to set up?
Bargain Buddy claims a 5-minute setup time, suggesting a simpler initial configuration. Singleton, with its wider range of features, likely requires more time to configure thoroughly.
Which app is better for B2B sales?
Singleton explicitly mentions B2B partner group discounts, making it the better choice for businesses focusing on wholesale or B2B sales. Bargain Buddy does not specifically address B2B use cases.
How accurate is the AI negotiation in Bargain Buddy?
The accuracy of the AI negotiation is dependent on the AI model's training and the rules defined by the merchant. Since there are only 2 reviews, there's insufficient data to assess its reliability in practice. It is crucial to carefully monitor its performance and adjust settings as needed.
