Our Verdict
Baseline: CRO Theme Sections is ideal for Shopify merchants seeking a quick and affordable way to improve their existing theme's conversion rates without getting bogged down in complex design processes or recurring subscription fees. It's perfect for those comfortable with their current theme but need a boost in performance. Instant Section & Page Builder, on the other hand, caters to merchants who desire complete creative control over their store's design and functionality. Its extensive template library, A/B testing capabilities, and advanced features make it a powerful tool for building high-converting stores from the ground up. It's best suited for users who are comfortable with a more comprehensive, albeit potentially more complex, platform.
Common Questions
What is the primary difference in design approach?
Baseline offers pre-optimized sections based on A/B testing, while Instant provides a full page builder with customizable templates and Figma integration for complete design freedom.
Which app is easier to use for beginners?
Baseline is likely easier for beginners due to its simpler focus on integrating pre-built sections. Instant, while user-friendly, has a steeper learning curve due to its broader range of features.
Which app offers better long-term scalability?
Instant Section & Page Builder offers better scalability due to its comprehensive feature set, A/B testing capabilities, and support for creating entire stores and landing pages.
What if I just want to improve my product pages?
Instant Section & Page Builder offers advanced product page customization, including metadata, subscriptions, and bundles. Baseline focuses on theme sections, which may impact product pages indirectly but lack specific product page features.
Is it possible to transfer sections built in Baseline to another theme later?
Since Baseline integrates with existing themes, transferring sections would likely depend on the compatibility of the new theme with those sections. It's best to confirm with the app developers beforehand. Instant, by virtue of being a complete builder, allows you to transfer page designs more easily, within the Instant ecosystem.
