Bat Preorder | Pre order Now vs Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counterfor Shopify (2026)
Bat Preorder | Pre order Now and Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter both address inventory concerns for Shopify merchants in 2026, but cater to distinct needs. Bat Preorder focuses on capturing sales for products *not yet available* through pre-orders, partial payments, and back-in-stock notifications. It aims to generate revenue and gauge demand before items are even stocked. Key features include B2B compatibility, multiple location support, customization options for button text and placement, and the ability to collect deposits for pre-ordered items. Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter, on the other hand, centers around creating urgency and scarcity to drive immediate sales of *existing* inventory. It leverages widgets displaying remaining stock levels, countdown timers, and low inventory alerts to encourage quick purchasing decisions. Its strength lies in its ease of use and immediate impact on conversion rates by highlighting limited availability. It focuses on visually conveying stock levels and triggering FOMO. Therefore, choosing between the two depends heavily on the merchant's primary goal: capturing demand for future products versus optimizing sales of current inventory.

If your business frequently sells out of items, its back-in-stock notifications will be very helpful.
However, if the goal is to maximize sales of existing inventory by creating a sense of urgency and scarcity, Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter is the more suitable option. It's an effective tool for any online store, especially those with fast-moving inventory.
