Our Verdict
For merchants looking to overhaul their entire store design or create dedicated landing pages with robust A/B testing, Beae Landing Page Builder is the clear choice. Its comprehensive feature set and focus on conversion optimization make it a powerful tool for driving sales. However, the trade-off is a potentially steeper learning curve and the need to manage a more complex system.
Flexi — Theme Sections Library is ideal for merchants who are happy with their existing Shopify 2.0 theme but want to quickly add professional-looking slider sections without sacrificing site speed. It's a simpler, more focused solution that offers a fast and easy way to enhance the visual appeal of their storefront without the complexity of a full page builder. If sliders are your primary need, Flexi offers a streamlined and efficient approach.
Common Questions
Which app is better for A/B testing?
Beae Landing Page Builder explicitly offers A/B testing capabilities, allowing merchants to test different page designs and layouts to optimize for conversions. Flexi does not provide A/B testing functionality.
Which app is easier to use for a beginner?
Flexi — Theme Sections Library is likely easier for beginners due to its focused functionality. It allows you to add and customize pre-built slider sections directly into your existing theme. Beae Landing Page Builder, with its broader range of features and options, may require more time to learn and master.
Which app will slow down my store more?
Flexi claims its sections are optimized to pass Google PageSpeed Insights, suggesting a focus on performance. While Beae also mentions 'lightning-fast performance,' the complexity of a full page builder could potentially lead to slower load times if not carefully optimized. However, Beae's description does claim it is SEO friendly, responsive and optimized for speed.
Can I use Flexi to create a completely new homepage?
Flexi is designed to add slider sections to existing themes, not to build entire pages from scratch. Beae Landing Page Builder would be the better choice for creating a completely new homepage.
Which app is more future-proof?
Flexi boasts that their slider sections are maintained by professional developers suggesting that they will be keeping the app up to date. Given Beae Landing Page Builder is 5/5 with over 700 reviews suggests they are already a reliable option.
