Our Verdict
For merchants looking to completely overhaul their landing pages, A/B test designs, and implement comprehensive conversion optimization strategies, Beae Landing Page Builder is the clear choice. Its high rating and significant review count suggest it's a well-regarded and feature-rich option.
However, if a merchant is satisfied with their current theme's overall design and just wants to add small but impactful features like animated buttons or size guides without rebuilding existing pages, Modular Blocks: Theme Sections might be a more suitable, simpler solution. That said, the lack of reviews for Modular Blocks: Theme Sections makes it a riskier choice at the moment. The merchant would essentially be a beta tester and would need to weigh the risk against the potential benefits of its specific features.
Common Questions
Which app is better for creating a brand new homepage from scratch?
Beae Landing Page Builder is the better choice because it's a complete page builder with extensive templates and design options.
Which app is easier to use for merchants with limited coding experience?
Modular Blocks: Theme Sections is likely easier for merchants with limited coding experience, as it focuses on adding pre-built blocks to existing themes. However, Beae Landing Page Builder's templates might also be accessible.
Does either app help with conversion rate optimization (CRO)?
Yes, Beae Landing Page Builder is heavily focused on CRO, offering features like countdown timers, sales banners, and A/B testing. Modular Blocks: Theme Sections provides CRO benefits indirectly through improved user engagement with features like animated buttons and product upsell popups.
Which app is more likely to slow down my site's loading speed?
Beae Landing Page Builder explicitly states that it is optimized for speed, while Modular Blocks: Theme Sections does not explicitly mention its impact on loading speed. This suggests that the latter might require careful consideration regarding its effects on site performance.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, but it might be redundant. If you are using Beae Landing Page Builder to create a new homepage, you might not need the specific blocks offered by Modular Blocks. However, you could use Beae for landing pages and Modular Blocks for specific elements on product pages. It would depend on the specific needs and design strategy of the merchant.
