Beae Landing Page Builder vs Smootify ‑ Design in Webflow!for Shopify (2026)
Beae Landing Page Builder and Smootify - Design in Webflow! both aim to empower Shopify merchants with enhanced store design capabilities, but they cater to vastly different audiences and offer distinct approaches. Beae focuses on providing an all-in-one, user-friendly page builder directly within the Shopify environment. Its strength lies in its A/B testing capabilities, extensive design library, and CRO-focused features, positioning it as a solution for merchants seeking to optimize their existing store for higher conversions. It promises a quick launch with readily available templates and requires no external platform. Smootify, on the other hand, caters to merchants comfortable with or aspiring to use a headless commerce architecture. It leverages Webflow, a powerful web design platform, to create pixel-perfect storefronts disconnected from Shopify's native theme. This allows for greater design flexibility and control. However, it requires familiarity with Webflow or a willingness to learn, making it a more technically demanding option. Its strength lies in its ability to create highly customized, visually stunning stores that aren't constrained by Shopify's theme limitations, albeit with a greater technical investment.

Our Verdict
Beae Landing Page Builder is the clear choice for Shopify merchants prioritizing ease of use, rapid deployment, and integrated A/B testing for conversion optimization. Its robust design library, CRO-focused features, and straightforward interface make it ideal for businesses of all sizes looking to quickly improve their store's performance without requiring extensive technical expertise. Its higher review count provides more social proof compared to Smootify.
Smootify - Design in Webflow! is best suited for merchants with a strong design focus, technical proficiency in Webflow, and a desire for complete design control within a headless commerce architecture. It allows for highly customized, visually stunning storefronts, but it comes with a steeper learning curve and requires a more significant time investment. While the promise of pixel-perfect design is alluring, it's a strategic choice for those prioritizing design over immediate ease of use and are comfortable managing a more complex tech stack.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use for a beginner?
Beae Landing Page Builder is significantly easier to use for beginners due to its drag-and-drop interface directly within the Shopify admin. Smootify requires familiarity with Webflow, which has a steeper learning curve.
Does Beae Landing Page Builder work with my existing Shopify theme?
Yes, Beae Landing Page Builder integrates with your existing Shopify theme, allowing you to create and customize pages without changing your overall theme.
What is a 'headless store' and why would I use Smootify?
