Beast Best Sellers vs MP ‑ Store Migration & Importfor Shopify (2026)
Beast Best Sellers and MP ‑ Store Migration & Import are both highly rated Shopify apps (5/5), but cater to drastically different needs and target audiences. Beast Best Sellers focuses solely on enabling merchants to create and automate bestseller collections based on quantities sold or sales totals, offering a more nuanced approach than Shopify's default bestseller determination which is based on the number of orders, regardless of quantity. Its strength lies in its precise bestseller tracking and continuous updating of collections based on defined periods. MP ‑ Store Migration & Import, while also having bulk editing capabilities placing it in the same Shopify category, is primarily designed to facilitate store migrations and importing data, suggesting it is built for a more specialized and infrequent use-case. The core difference lies in their functionality. Beast Best Sellers aims to improve merchandising and sales by highlighting popular products dynamically, targeting established stores looking to optimize their product display. MP ‑ Store Migration & Import, on the other hand, is a tool for merchants setting up a store, migrating from another platform, or managing large datasets. The number of reviews further underscores this contrast, with MP ‑ Store Migration & Import's significantly larger review count (109 vs 2) suggesting a wider user base and potentially longer market presence, though it doesn't speak to the app's performance in the specific 'Bulk Editor' category they share. Both have value, but for very different needs.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants looking to enhance their store's merchandising and automatically showcase best-selling products based on actual sales figures, Beast Best Sellers is the clear choice. Its focus on quantity and sales total tracking for bestseller collection creation directly addresses a specific need within an existing store.
MP ‑ Store Migration & Import, on the other hand, is ideal for merchants who are setting up a new Shopify store or migrating from another e-commerce platform. Although it shares the 'Bulk editor' category, it isn't suitable for managing bestseller collections in an ongoing way. Therefore, for most merchants, Beast Best Sellers will likely be more useful in the long run.
