BentoSMB Draft Orders For POS vs Easy Appointment Booking Appfor Shopify (2026)
BentoSMB Draft Orders For POS and Easy Appointment Booking App both operate within the 'Selling in person' and 'Retail' Shopify categories, but cater to vastly different merchant needs. BentoSMB Draft Orders For POS focuses on streamlining draft order management directly within the Shopify POS system. Its core strength lies in its ability to seamlessly integrate existing draft orders into the POS workflow, enabling staff to quickly access, modify, and finalize transactions. This app primarily targets retailers with complex ordering processes or those frequently dealing with custom quotes and special orders in a brick and mortar setting. It addresses limitations within Shopify POS regarding draft order accessibility, making it easier for staff to access customer specific or saved orders in store. A major weakness appears to be the limited number of reviews, meaning the app has a small user base. Easy Appointment Booking App, on the other hand, addresses a completely different need, empowering merchants to manage appointments and bookings for services, events, or rentals. Its robust feature set includes appointment scheduling, automated notifications, calendar integrations, and team management tools. This app is well-suited for businesses offering time-based services, such as salons, workshops, tours, or rentals. The large number of positive reviews signals wide adoption and indicates that the app effectively addresses the needs of merchants reliant on bookings. It also offers advanced features like customer rescheduling and integration with marketing platforms like Klaviyo, making it a powerful tool for appointment-based businesses.

Our Verdict
The choice between these two apps hinges entirely on the merchant's specific business model. If the primary need is to manage draft orders efficiently within the Shopify POS system, especially for complex in-store orders, BentoSMB Draft Orders For POS is the more relevant solution. However, merchants considering BentoSMB should be aware of the low number of reviews and potential POS limitations.
On the other hand, if the business revolves around providing services, rentals, or events requiring appointment scheduling and management, Easy Appointment Booking App is the clear winner. Its higher rating, significantly larger number of reviews, and comprehensive booking features make it a robust and reliable choice for appointment-based businesses seeking to optimize their scheduling and customer communication processes.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Easy Appointment Booking App claims 'No code required, completely customizable', suggesting potentially simpler setup compared to BentoSMB, where ease-of-use might be affected by inherent POS limitations.
Does BentoSMB Draft Orders For POS work with all POS systems?
The description of BentoSMB indicates that its functionality is heavily dependent on the Shopify POS system. It specifically mentions limitations within Shopify POS, suggesting it might not fully support all features users expect.
Which app has better customer support?
While neither description explicitly mentions support responsiveness, the large review count for Easy Appointment Booking App implies a more mature product with potentially more resources dedicated to customer support.
Can I use both apps at the same time?
While technically possible, it's unlikely to be beneficial. They address distinct needs - draft order management vs. appointment booking - so using both would only make sense if the business requires both independent functionalities.
Is BentoSMB Draft Orders For POS useful if I don't use draft orders?
No. The app's entire functionality revolves around managing draft orders within the POS system. If your business doesn't utilize draft orders, this app provides no value.
