Our Verdict
For merchants requiring granular control over shipping rates and handling complex shipping scenarios, Bespoke Shipping appears to be the stronger option. Its larger user base, reflected in the higher number of reviews, suggests it's a reliable and well-tested solution for managing intricate shipping needs. Delm ‑ Estimated Delivery Date, on the other hand, is ideally suited for merchants whose primary goal is to improve the post-purchase customer experience by providing accurate and transparent delivery date estimations. It's a great choice for businesses that want to reduce customer inquiries and build trust by clearly communicating expected arrival times.
Common Questions
Which app is better for merchants selling internationally?
Without further information, it's impossible to definitively say. Bespoke Shipping's focus on rates might be useful for managing international shipping costs, while Delm's estimated delivery dates can manage customer expectations regardless of location. More information is needed on specific international shipping features to advise confidently.
Does Bespoke Shipping provide estimated delivery dates?
Based solely on the name and category, it's unlikely that providing *estimated delivery dates* is its primary function. Its core competency likely lies in managing rates, not explicitly calculating and displaying delivery dates.
Is Delm difficult to set up?
Given its focus on a single feature (delivery date estimates), Delm is likely easier to set up and configure than Bespoke Shipping, which presumably has more complex settings for rate customization.
What if I need both custom shipping rates and delivery date estimates?
In that case, consider researching whether either app offers both features as an add-on or integration. Alternatively, using both apps might be necessary, or finding a third-party app that combines both functionalities could be the best solution.
Are these apps suitable for dropshipping businesses?
Both apps *could* be suitable for dropshipping, but the best choice depends on the specific dropshipping model. Bespoke Shipping could help manage varied shipping rates from different suppliers, while Delm's delivery date estimates are always valuable for managing customer expectations in dropshipping, where delivery times can be less predictable.
