Best Seller Insights by Burst vs Lably—Product Labels & Badgesfor Shopify (2026)
Best Seller Insights by Burst and Lably—Product Labels & Badges both aim to boost sales through promotions, but they approach the task from fundamentally different angles. Best Seller Insights focuses on automatically identifying and promoting top-performing products based on sales data. It's about data-driven merchandising, surfacing proven winners to increase conversions. Lably, on the other hand, is a product label and badge app designed to visually highlight products and promotions, using pre-designed or custom-made labels to attract customer attention. The core difference lies in their automation and intended use cases. Best Seller Insights automates much of the merchandising process by dynamically adjusting product placement and adding tags based on sales performance. Lably offers extensive customization of labels and badges for various promotional events and specific conditions. One is data-driven & dynamic, while the other is visual & event-driven. Best Seller Insights may be more helpful to merchants who don't have time to manually create badges for every sale. Lably is ideal for merchants who want complete creative control over their product promotions. The number of reviews should also be taken into consideration. Lably has a significantly higher number of reviews than Best Seller Insights, possibly signaling a larger and more established user base or a more popular solution.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a hands-off approach to promoting their best-selling products based on real-time sales data, Best Seller Insights by Burst is likely the better choice. Its automated features save time and ensure that top performers are consistently highlighted. However, the low number of reviews compared to Lably means that merchants should approach with caution and verify if the app is still maintained in 2026.
If a merchant prioritizes visual customization, wants to create themed promotions for specific events (like Halloween or BFCM), and prefers to have complete control over the design and placement of product labels, Lably—Product Labels & Badges is the superior option. The large number of reviews also suggests a more reliable and widely adopted solution. Merchants willing to invest time in creating compelling visual labels will find Lably's flexibility invaluable.
