Our Verdict
For general Shopify stores selling a variety of products and looking to optimize collection presentation and boost sales through strategic product placement, Bestsellers reSort is the superior choice. Its flexible rule-based sorting and detailed analytics provide powerful merchandising capabilities. However, if the store primarily sells clothing or footwear, Fit Quiz: Size recommendation is a must-have. The reduction in returns and the increase in customer satisfaction from accurate size recommendations will likely outweigh the broader merchandising benefits of Bestsellers reSort. Both apps can add value to a Shopify store, but the ideal selection depends heavily on the specific product vertical.
Common Questions
Can Bestsellers reSort help reduce returns like Fit Quiz?
While Bestsellers reSort focuses on optimizing product placement to increase sales, it doesn't directly address the issue of returns related to sizing like Fit Quiz does. A well-organized store can improve customer experience and potentially reduce returns indirectly, but it's not its primary function.

Fit Quiz is specifically designed for clothing and footwear, focusing on size and fit recommendations. It may not be suitable for accessories where sizing isn't a primary concern.
Does Bestsellers reSort support scheduling of product sorting rules?
Yes, Bestsellers reSort allows you to schedule product placement, enabling you to promote new arrivals or seasonal items automatically.
Does the Fit Quiz require customers to provide sensitive information like weight or body measurements?
No, the Fit Quiz explicitly states that it avoids asking sensitive questions like weight, body measurements, or body scans, focusing on providing recommendations without requiring such data.
Are both apps easy to set up for non-technical users?
Fit Quiz highlights its easy setup and states that no size charts or garment measurements are required, suggesting a user-friendly process. Bestsellers reSort doesn't explicitly state its ease of use, so it's hard to conclude.
