BeSure Checkout Rules vs FlexiFees ‑ Conditional Feesfor Shopify (2026)
BeSure Checkout Rules and FlexiFees ‑ Conditional Fees represent distinct approaches to customizing the Shopify checkout experience. BeSure Checkout Rules focuses on controlling the checkout flow itself, allowing merchants to reorder, hide, or rename shipping and payment methods based on a wide array of conditions. This is targeted toward improving conversion rates and user experience by tailoring the checkout process. FlexiFees, conversely, concentrates on adding extra mandatory fees and surcharges to orders, based on product or cart conditions. The primary difference lies in their functionalities. BeSure is about optimizing *how* customers pay and receive their orders, while FlexiFees is about adding additional costs to the order. Given the significant difference in user reviews and ratings (5/5 with 165 reviews for BeSure versus 2.8/5 with 2 reviews for FlexiFees), there is considerable discrepancy between the perceived value and reliability of these apps. Merchants should carefully consider their needs: streamlining checkout options or adding fees based on specific conditions.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with optimizing the checkout flow to improve conversion rates and user experience, BeSure Checkout Rules appears to be the stronger choice due to its high rating and numerous positive reviews. Its extensive customization options provide significant control over the checkout process. However, if the *sole* requirement is to add mandatory fees based on product or cart conditions, FlexiFees might suffice, assuming the merchant is willing to overlook its low rating and limited number of reviews. Given the current data, most merchants should lean towards BeSure Checkout Rules unless their needs are exceptionally narrow and focused solely on mandatory fee implementation. BeSure has a much stronger track record.
