BeSure Checkout Rules vs Humanmarkfor Shopify (2026)
BeSure Checkout Rules and Humanmark both operate within the 'Checkout - Other' category on Shopify, but address vastly different needs. BeSure Checkout Rules focuses on optimizing the checkout experience by providing merchants with granular control over shipping and payment options. It enables conditional display, reordering, and customization of these options based on various criteria, aiming to improve conversion rates and customer satisfaction. Conversely, Humanmark is a security-focused app designed to prevent bot purchases by implementing hardware-backed human verification at checkout, protecting specific products tagged as 'humanmark-required'. BeSure Checkout Rules is aimed at merchants looking to fine-tune their checkout process, offering features to tailor shipping and payment options to specific customer segments or product types. The app is designed for store owners looking to enhance the customer journey and reduce checkout friction. On the other hand, Humanmark targets merchants experiencing issues with bots purchasing limited-edition or high-demand products. By implementing a secure verification step, Humanmark helps ensure that legitimate customers have a fair chance of acquiring these items. Our Verdict
For most Shopify merchants seeking to improve their checkout experience, BeSure Checkout Rules is the more immediately relevant solution. Its customization options allow for a tailored checkout process, potentially boosting conversion rates. The positive reviews and high rating suggest a reliable and effective tool. Humanmark, on the other hand, is a niche solution specifically for stores struggling with bot purchases. If your store is plagued by bots buying limited-edition or high-demand items, Humanmark's hardware-backed verification offers a unique approach to combatting this issue. Without confirmed botting issues, BeSure provides much more immediate, demonstrable value.
In summary, if you're experiencing bot issues, Humanmark is worth considering. If you are not facing bot issues, BeSure Checkout Rules is the more broadly applicable app for optimizing your checkout process and potentially increasing sales.
