BeSure Checkout Rules vs PayPager: Payment Issue Alertsfor Shopify (2026)
BeSure Checkout Rules and PayPager: Payment Issue Alerts both aim to improve the Shopify checkout experience, but they approach the problem from vastly different angles. BeSure Checkout Rules focuses on customization and control of the checkout flow, allowing merchants to modify the presentation of shipping and payment options based on various conditions. This makes it a solution for merchants seeking a more tailored and streamlined checkout process to improve conversion rates. On the other hand, PayPager: Payment Issue Alerts concentrates on recovering potentially lost sales due to payment failures, particularly in cross-border transactions. It aims to provide merchants with faster alerts about payment declines, enabling them to proactively address the issues and secure the sale before it's marked as abandoned.

Our Verdict
BeSure Checkout Rules is the clear choice for merchants seeking to customize and optimize their checkout process based on a variety of conditions. Its strong rating and numerous positive reviews suggest a reliable and effective solution. Merchants who are experiencing high abandonment rates specifically due to payment failures, particularly in cross-border transactions, might consider PayPager. However, the lack of reviews and the zero rating make it a riskier choice. For most merchants, starting with a well-reviewed solution like BeSure Checkout Rules and addressing general checkout optimization issues first is likely the more prudent approach.
