BeSure Checkout Rules vs QeCart ‑ Slide Out Cartfor Shopify (2026)
BeSure Checkout Rules and QeCart ‑ Slide Out Cart both target Shopify merchants interested in cart customization, but they address fundamentally different aspects of the checkout process. BeSure Checkout Rules focuses on controlling and customizing the *actual checkout page* by manipulating shipping and payment options based on various rules. It aims to streamline the existing checkout to reduce friction and increase conversions. QeCart, on the other hand, centers around the *cart experience itself*, offering a slide-out cart feature, upsell opportunities, and a customizable popup to enhance the shopping experience before the customer even reaches the checkout page. BeSure Checkout Rules is geared towards merchants who need granular control over their checkout flow, particularly concerning shipping and payment options based on specific conditions. It caters to businesses with complex shipping requirements, regulated product sales (e.g., age-restricted items), or those seeking to optimize their existing checkout process through conditional logic. QeCart is designed for merchants prioritizing a modern, user-friendly shopping experience and looking to increase their average order value through upsells and an improved cart interface. The significantly higher rating and review count for BeSure Checkout Rules suggest it is a more established and trusted solution.

Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with checkout abandonment due to shipping restrictions, incorrect address formats, or a confusing payment selection process, BeSure Checkout Rules is the clear choice. Its robust rule-based system provides the control needed to tailor the checkout experience precisely to their needs. The significantly higher number of positive reviews suggests a reliable and effective solution.
If the primary goal is to modernize the shopping experience and boost average order value, QeCart ‑ Slide Out Cart could be a viable option. However, the low rating and extremely limited number of reviews should prompt careful consideration and potentially a trial period to ensure it meets the merchant's needs. The app may be newer, less mature, or simply not as well-received as BeSure Checkout Rules at this point in time. Merchants may also consider other more established side cart apps.
