BeSure Checkout Rules vs SupaElements: Custom Checkoutfor Shopify (2026)
BeSure Checkout Rules and SupaElements: Custom Checkout both aim to improve the Shopify checkout experience, but they approach the problem from different angles. BeSure focuses on granular control over shipping and payment methods using conditional logic. It excels at modifying existing checkout processes based on cart contents, customer attributes, and shipping address to streamline and optimize conversion. SupaElements, on the other hand, offers broader customization capabilities, extending beyond the checkout page to the order status and thank you pages. It emphasizes branding and adding elements like cross-selling and upselling opportunities. BeSure appears targeted at merchants with very specific operational needs related to shipping and payment rules – businesses wanting to restrict PO boxes, apply discounts selectively, or reorder checkout options based on customer type. The large number of reviews (165) suggests it's been a popular and relatively well-established solution. SupaElements, with only 2 reviews, seems to be newer or focused on a niche market. It's likely designed for merchants seeking comprehensive branding and marketing opportunities throughout the post-purchase experience, not just optimization of existing checkout elements. SupaElements uses 'SupaActions', likely referring to pre-built templates or automation options, suggesting it attempts to simplify customization.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with optimizing the core checkout process by selectively displaying or modifying shipping and payment options based on complex business rules, BeSure Checkout Rules is the better choice. The higher number of reviews suggests a more established product with a track record of successful implementations.
If a merchant is more interested in adding branding, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities to the checkout, order status, and thank you pages, SupaElements: Custom Checkout is more suitable. It offers a broader range of customization options beyond the basic checkout flow and provides pre-built automations for ease of use. However, the low review count warrants caution and further investigation before committing to this app.
