Better Blog Comments vs Heureka • Trust Badgefor Shopify (2026)
Better Blog Comments and Heureka • Trust Badge both aim to improve customer experience on Shopify stores, but they address fundamentally different needs. Better Blog Comments focuses on fostering community and engagement *on* the blog itself. It seeks to transform passive blog readers into active, loyal customers through interactive discussions, ratings, and email notifications. In contrast, Heureka • Trust Badge concentrates on building trust and credibility through customer reviews aggregated via a specific Czech/Slovakian portal and displayed as a 'Customer Verified' certificate on the store. The primary difference lies in their target areas: Better Blog Comments enhances the blog experience, while Heureka • Trust Badge enhances the overall store credibility and conversion rate. Better Blog Comments offers functionalities like threaded replies and spam protection geared towards active community management. Heureka • Trust Badge hinges on integration with the Heureka platform and relies on post-purchase questionnaire deployment. Therefore, the choice depends on whether the merchant prioritizes blog engagement or broader trust signals related to overall customer satisfaction and purchase experience.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants with a strong blog presence aiming to cultivate community and drive sales through content, Better Blog Comments is the clear choice. The features encourage conversation, build trust through ratings, and keep discussions professional. However, the low number of reviews (7) may suggest a relatively new app or one with limited adoption.
Conversely, Heureka • Trust Badge is specifically targeted toward merchants selling in the Czech and Slovak markets and already utilizing the Heureka platform. Its value lies in leveraging Heureka's verified customer reviews to improve store credibility and conversion rates within those regions. This app is not suited for merchants outside the Czech/Slovak markets or those not integrated with Heureka. The equally low review count (6) also warrants careful consideration.
