BeUniq ‑ Ultimate Size Chart vs Color Swatch King: Variantsfor Shopify (2026)
BeUniq ‑ Ultimate Size Chart and Color Swatch King: Variants are both Shopify apps designed to enhance the product display, but they serve fundamentally different purposes. BeUniq focuses on providing size charts in various formats (image, PDF, video, editor table) to reduce return rates related to sizing issues. It targets merchants selling apparel, footwear, or other items where size is a critical purchasing factor. Color Swatch King, on the other hand, emphasizes improving the user experience by offering variant swatches (color, image) and advanced variant picking options, aiming to boost conversion rates by making it easier for customers to visualize and select the desired product variations. It caters to a broader range of product types, particularly those with multiple colors, styles, or configurations. The significant difference lies in their core functionalities and the pain points they address. BeUniq aims to solve the problem of incorrect sizing, thereby reducing returns. Color Swatch King focuses on streamlining the product selection process, encouraging faster and more informed purchasing decisions. The rating disparity is stark, with BeUniq having no reviews, suggesting it is either new or has not been widely adopted, whereas Color Swatch King boasts a near-perfect rating and a substantial number of reviews, indicating high user satisfaction and reliability. The feature lists also reveal that Color Swatch King has features that scale to larger stores, such as Shopify Markets support, B2B support, and integration with search/filter apps.

Our Verdict
Color Swatch King: Variants is the clear choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026, particularly those with products that have numerous variations and are looking to boost conversion rates by improving the customer experience. Its high rating and extensive reviews suggest a reliable and effective solution. Features like bulk upload for color swatches, Shopify Markets compatibility, and integration with search/filter apps make it ideal for scaling businesses. While size charts are mentioned as compatible, it doesn't provide the robust size chart features that BeUniq offers.
BeUniq ‑ Ultimate Size Chart might be a viable option *only* if the merchant's primary and overwhelming need is for detailed and customizable size charts and they are willing to take a chance on an app with no reviews. If sizing is the *absolute* biggest barrier to sales (more so than variant selection), and budget is extremely limited, BeUniq might be worth investigating further *after* thoroughly vetting its support and long-term viability. However, given its lack of social proof, proceeding with caution is essential. For most stores, using a well-established app like Color Swatch King in conjunction with a separate, well-reviewed size chart app is the better strategy. The 'works with' claim of color swatch king is not equivalent to *providing* size charts.
Common Questions
Which app is better for stores selling clothing?
Color Swatch King can improve the overall shopping experience by providing color and image swatches of the clothing items. However, BeUniq might be necessary if sizing is a common customer pain point. Consider using both or looking for an app with features from both apps combined.
Does Color Swatch King have built in size chart functionality?
While the description mentions that it works with size charts, it is NOT the primary function of the app. The app focuses on swatches and variant selection, and may require integration with another size chart app.
Is BeUniq a risky choice given its lack of reviews?
Yes, using an app with zero reviews carries inherent risks. There is limited evidence of its reliability, effectiveness, or the responsiveness of its customer support. Merchants should proceed with caution and carefully evaluate the app's features before committing to a purchase.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Color Swatch King has features like 'Automate swatches with supaeasy variant image swatch' and 'bulk upload color swatches' suggesting a streamlined experience. Based on these features, it is likely easier to get started with. BeUniq's focus on ease of chart relocation also implies a user-friendly interface, however this is harder to verify with a lack of reviews.
Which app offers better value for money?
Without knowing the pricing of either app, it's difficult to say definitively. However, Color Swatch King's robust feature set, high rating, and extensive reviews suggest it offers a better overall value proposition due to its proven effectiveness and reliability. Value also depends on if a merchant needs size charts or variant options the most, in which case their related app is the better value.
