Our Verdict
For merchants with smaller catalogs who need precise control over product filtering based on specific tags and metafields, Bevy Smart Collections Builder is likely the better choice, especially if they are comfortable with a hands-on approach. Its detailed rule system allows for highly customized collections. However, the lack of reviews makes it riskier to try.
On the other hand, Collection Sort & Category |KX is the superior option for larger businesses, especially fashion brands, seeking to automate collection management, improve product sorting, and personalize the shopping experience. Its AI-driven approach reduces manual effort and optimizes for conversion. The significantly higher number of reviews lends credence to its effectiveness and reliability, making it the safer and potentially more impactful investment for scaling businesses. Collection Sort & Category |KX's AI functionality has a higher initial setup and running cost, but its ability to streamline product sorting and create a more personalised customer experience means it has the potential to save a large amount of time and generate significantly more revenue for larger organisations.
