BF Size Chart & Size Guide vs OPTIS Product Options, Variantfor Shopify (2026)
BF Size Chart & Size Guide and OPTIS Product Options, Variant are both Shopify apps catering to customization and product presentation, but they address very different needs. BF Size Chart focuses squarely on reducing returns by providing customizable size charts and guides for apparel, footwear, and jewelry. Its strength lies in its specialization, allowing merchants to easily create and display accurate sizing information on product pages using text, images, and smart size charts based on collections or tags. OPTIS Product Options, on the other hand, is a more general-purpose app designed to enhance product customization and variant selection beyond just sizing. While specifics on OPTIS' features are limited in the provided data, its positioning within the "Custom products, Product variants" category suggests a broader application for allowing customers to personalize products in ways beyond simply selecting a size.

Our Verdict
If a merchant's primary need is to provide clear and accurate size information to reduce returns related to sizing issues, BF Size Chart & Size Guide is the clear choice. Its features are specifically tailored to create professional and helpful size charts. However, if a merchant requires extensive customization options beyond size, such as allowing customers to personalize colors, materials, engravings, or other product features, then OPTIS Product Options, Variant would be a more suitable solution. The higher number of reviews suggests that OPTIS may also be a more mature or versatile app, depending on the specific needs beyond sizing.
Common Questions
Which app is better for reducing returns?
BF Size Chart & Size Guide is explicitly designed to reduce returns related to sizing. OPTIS might reduce returns through better product configuration, but not as directly.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, yes. If a merchant needs both advanced product customization AND robust size charts, these apps could complement each other. However, this would require careful consideration of potential conflicts.
Which app is easier to set up?
Without further details, it's hard to say definitively. BF Size Chart, focusing solely on sizing, is likely to have a simpler initial setup process compared to OPTIS.
Does OPTIS have size chart features?
The provided information does not mention specific size chart functionality within OPTIS. It focuses on broader product option and variant management.
Which app is better value for money?
Without pricing information, it's impossible to determine value. The 'best' value depends on whether the features offered align with the merchant's specific needs and budget.
