BFCM Bars & Banners—Quicky vs Shabbat Modefor Shopify (2026)
BFCM Bars & Banners—Quicky and Shabbat Mode, while both appearing in the 'Countdown timer' category on Shopify, cater to vastly different needs and target audiences. BFCM Bars & Banners—Quicky is designed for broad promotional purposes, likely focusing on driving sales through time-sensitive offers (as implied by the name). Shabbat Mode, on the other hand, is a highly specialized app designed for merchants who need to automatically close and reopen their store based on a recurring schedule, primarily for religious or holiday observances. The key distinction lies in their core functionality: one focuses on boosting sales with promotional timers, while the other ensures scheduled store closures and reopenings. The significant difference in review count (130 for Quicky vs. 2 for Shabbat Mode) also suggests a wider user base for BFCM Bars & Banners—Quicky. This isn't necessarily a disadvantage for Shabbat Mode, as its specialized functionality will only appeal to a niche market. However, the 5/5 rating for Quicky compared to the 4.5/5 rating for Shabbat Mode may indicate a more seamless user experience or greater customer satisfaction, although the low review count for Shabbat Mode makes drawing firm conclusions difficult.

Our Verdict
For general Shopify merchants looking to boost sales with countdown timers and promotional banners, BFCM Bars & Banners—Quicky is the clear choice, given its higher rating and substantial review count. Its widespread adoption suggests a user-friendly interface and effective results.
However, for merchants who require the specific functionality of automatically closing and reopening their store based on a schedule, particularly for religious observances like Shabbat or other holidays using the Hebrew calendar, Shabbat Mode is the only viable option despite the lower number of reviews. Its specialized features cater to a very specific need that BFCM Bars & Banners—Quicky does not address.
