BFCM Bars & Banners—Quicky vs Sold Count: Low Stock Counterfor Shopify (2026)
BFCM Bars & Banners—Quicky and Sold Count: Low Stock Counter are both Shopify apps with the shared feature of offering countdown timers, but they serve distinct purposes and target different merchant needs. BFCM Bars & Banners—Quicky, boasting a perfect 5/5 rating from 130 reviews, likely focuses on enhancing promotional campaigns, particularly around peak sales periods like Black Friday/Cyber Monday. It seems to be delivering a well-received solution for merchants looking to boost sales during these times. On the other hand, Sold Count: Low Stock Counter, with a significantly lower rating of 2.9/5 from just 13 reviews, targets merchants struggling with conversion rates. It aims to instill a sense of urgency and scarcity by displaying inventory levels, sold counts, and countdown timers, thereby attempting to motivate hesitant customers to make immediate purchases. The key difference lies in their core function. Quicky likely provides tools for creating engaging promotional banners and bars, potentially including countdown timers as one element. Sold Count focuses specifically on leveraging FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) through real-time inventory displays and scarcity indicators, addressing cart abandonment and conversion optimization. The significant difference in ratings and review counts suggests a disparity in user satisfaction and/or market adoption, which should be carefully considered by merchants evaluating these options.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with running engaging and effective promotions, especially around Black Friday/Cyber Monday, BFCM Bars & Banners—Quicky appears to be the stronger choice based on its vastly superior rating and review count. The app seems to provide a solid, well-received solution for this specific need.
However, if a merchant is specifically struggling with low conversion rates and believes that instilling a sense of urgency and scarcity through real-time inventory displays is the key to improvement, Sold Count: Low Stock Counter might be worth experimenting with, despite its lower rating. Given the limited and negative reviews, proceed with caution and carefully evaluate whether it delivers the promised results before fully committing to it.
