BGN EUR Dual Currency Display vs Currency Converter Birdfor Shopify (2026)
BGN EUR Dual Currency Display and Currency Converter Bird both address currency needs on Shopify stores, but cater to vastly different merchant segments. BGN EUR Dual Currency Display is a highly focused app designed exclusively for merchants needing to display prices in both Bulgarian Lev (BGN) and Euro (EUR). It emphasizes simplicity and ease of use, with a 'one-click setup' and automatic price conversion across the entire store. Its strength lies in its specific functionality and streamlined user experience for a niche market. Currency Converter Bird, on the other hand, targets a much broader audience seeking multi-currency support. It boasts compatibility with 170 currencies and offers features like auto location-based conversion and currency conversion at checkout. However, the app currently lacks any user reviews, raising questions about its reliability and performance in a live store environment. Its value proposition centers on providing comprehensive currency conversion capabilities for international customers, but its unproven nature poses a risk for merchants. The fundamental difference is that BGN EUR Dual Currency Display serves a single, defined purpose extremely well, while Currency Converter Bird aims to be a comprehensive solution with unverified performance.

Our Verdict
For merchants specifically requiring Bulgarian Lev (BGN) and Euro (EUR) dual currency display, BGN EUR Dual Currency Display is the clear choice. Its perfect rating and positive reviews suggest a reliable and well-executed solution for this niche need. The one-click setup is a significant advantage for merchants seeking a hassle-free implementation.
However, if a merchant needs to support a wide range of currencies and offer location-based conversion, Currency Converter Bird is theoretically the more suitable option. Nevertheless, the complete absence of reviews introduces a significant risk. Merchants considering Currency Converter Bird should proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly test the app in a development environment before deploying it to a live store. Given the lack of validation, it would be wise to search for alternative apps with at least some positive reviews or a free trial.
