Our Verdict
The choice between BI: Payment & Checkout Upsell and Rekitr Subscriptions App hinges on the merchant's primary objective. If the goal is to refine the checkout process, experiment with payment and delivery options, and increase the average order value through strategic upsells, BI: Payment & Checkout Upsell is the more suitable option, despite its lack of reviews. Its focus on rules-based control is ideal for merchants with a specific vision for their checkout flow.
However, if the focus is on building a subscription-based business model or expanding an existing one, Rekitr Subscriptions App is the clear winner. Its features specifically target subscription management, providing tools for creating flexible plans, automating billing, and personalizing the customer experience. The positive initial reviews, although few in number, lend credence to its claims of ease of use and effectiveness in driving retention and recurring revenue. The lack of reviews for BI: Payment & Checkout Upsell is concerning and suggests proceeding with caution, potentially seeking a trial period or alternative options.
