BIG Digital Downloads Products vs BulkPro ‑ Order Importfor Shopify (2026)
BIG Digital Downloads Products and BulkPro - Order Import, while both appearing in the Shopify 'Orders' category, serve entirely different purposes. BIG Digital Downloads Products focuses on enabling merchants to sell digital products, offering features like unlimited storage, downloadable file management, license key support, and download limiting. Its target audience is clearly merchants selling ebooks, software, music, or other digital assets. It positions itself as a comprehensive solution, even suggesting it is an alternative to services like WeTransfer, Google Drive, and Etsy for digital sales. BulkPro - Order Import, on the other hand, addresses the need for merchants to import orders in bulk from external sources, such as other e-commerce platforms (Magento, Wix, etc.) or offline sales. It prioritizes ease of use for importing orders from CSV or Excel files, mapping customer data, and creating corresponding customer data, transactions, and taxes. The key differentiator lies in its focus on importing existing orders, not selling products directly. The vastly different number of reviews reflects the maturity and/or market demand for each app type.

Our Verdict
The choice between BIG Digital Downloads Products and BulkPro - Order Import hinges entirely on the merchant's needs. If you're selling digital products, BIG Digital Downloads Products is the clear choice, offering the necessary tools to manage and deliver your digital assets. Its high rating and large number of reviews suggest a positive user experience.
However, if you need to import orders from another platform or external sources, BulkPro - Order Import is designed for that specific purpose. Despite the lower rating and fewer reviews, it addresses a crucial pain point for merchants managing data migration or handling orders outside of Shopify. A lower review count could suggest it's a newer app or has a niche market.
