Our Verdict
Choosing between BIG Digital Downloads Products and PT2 ‑ Statement Printer depends entirely on your business needs. If you're selling digital products and require a robust delivery system with features like download limits and license key management, BIG Digital Downloads is the clear choice. Its high rating and extensive review count suggest a reliable and well-regarded solution. However, if your primary concern is simplifying accounting tasks through automated statement and invoice creation and distribution, PT2 ‑ Statement Printer is the better fit. While its review count is much lower, the feature set aligns directly with administrative requirements.
Merchants who sell both physical and digital products might eventually need both apps, but they address distinctly separate operational needs. The high rating of BIG Digital Downloads coupled with significantly more reviews strongly suggests a better user experience and more complete feature set for its intended purpose. Unless specific needs are narrowly aligned with PT2’s invoice and statement processing specifically, BIG Digital Downloads has a more robust market presence and positive user feedback.
