Bigblue ‑ All in one logistics vs Synkro: Inventory Syncfor Shopify (2026)
Bigblue ‑ All in one logistics and Synkro: Inventory Sync both aim to streamline operations for Shopify merchants, but they address very different needs. Bigblue positions itself as a complete fulfillment solution for customer-centric brands, focusing on warehousing, order fulfillment, customized unboxing experiences, and branded post-purchase communication. It handles the physical aspects of getting products to customers, including B2B fulfillment for various channels. In contrast, Synkro focuses on multi-store inventory and product synchronization, helping merchants manage product listings, inventory levels, and orders across multiple connected Shopify stores. It offers real-time syncing and custom price rules for dynamic pricing strategies. The key difference lies in their core functionalities: Bigblue is a logistics and fulfillment provider, physically managing inventory and shipping, while Synkro is a software solution for managing data (inventory, products, orders, and prices) across multiple Shopify stores. Bigblue's strength lies in simplifying the operational complexities of order fulfillment, while Synkro's strength is in efficiently managing and syncing product and inventory information across multiple storefronts. The review count also indicates a significant difference in adoption, with Synkro having a much larger user base despite both having a perfect rating. This could imply Synkro addresses a more common pain point or has been available for a longer time.

Our Verdict
The choice between Bigblue and Synkro depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs. Bigblue is the clear choice for merchants struggling with fulfillment logistics, seeking to outsource warehousing and shipping while providing a branded customer experience. It is ideal for brands focusing on customer satisfaction through fast and reliable delivery. On the other hand, Synkro is the better option for merchants operating multiple Shopify stores who need a reliable system for keeping inventory, product information, and pricing consistent across all channels. It is best for businesses focused on streamlining multi-store management and dynamic pricing.
If a merchant only has one Shopify store and needs fulfillment assistance, Bigblue is the only relevant choice. If a merchant has multiple stores but handles fulfillment independently, Synkro will significantly reduce administrative overhead. There is minimal feature overlap, meaning that in some cases, merchants might benefit from using both.
Common Questions
Does Bigblue handle inventory management, or does it only handle order fulfillment?
Bigblue handles inventory storage within their warehouses as part of their fulfillment service. This is different from simply synchronizing inventory data across stores; they physically manage the inventory.
Can Synkro help with order fulfillment if I have only one Shopify store?
No, Synkro is designed for merchants with multiple Shopify stores. Its core function is to synchronize data across these stores, which is not relevant to a single-store setup.
Does Bigblue integrate with other sales channels besides Shopify?
Yes, Bigblue offers B2B fulfillment for marketplaces like Amazon FBA and retail stores, suggesting integration beyond just Shopify.
Does Synkro support syncing of product images or other media?
The description mentions 'product property syncing' but does not explicitly state if this includes media like images. Further investigation might be needed on their website.
Are there any overlapping features between Bigblue and Synkro, or do they completely different functions?
While both apps fall under the 'Inventory' category, their functionalities are largely distinct. Bigblue focuses on the physical aspects of inventory management and order fulfillment, while Synkro concentrates on synchronizing inventory data across multiple stores. A business with multiple stores using Bigblue for fulfillment would still require Synkro to keep the inventory numbers accurate on each store, in turn allowing more accurate orders sent to Bigblue for fulfillment.
