BigBuy ‑ Dropshipping carriers vs Intuitive Shippingfor Shopify (2026)
BigBuy ‑ Dropshipping carriers and Intuitive Shipping address vastly different needs within the Shopify shipping landscape. BigBuy focuses on a specific, highly integrated solution for merchants exclusively using BigBuy's dropshipping service. Its core value proposition is automated shipping cost calculation tied directly to BigBuy's product database and supported carriers. Intuitive Shipping, on the other hand, targets merchants who require a highly customizable and flexible shipping solution, providing granular control over conditions, pricing, and branding at checkout. It positions itself as an upgrade from basic Shopify shipping, catering to stores with complex shipping requirements. The key difference lies in their scope and target user. BigBuy is narrowly focused on BigBuy dropshippers needing automated cost calculation with a specific carrier set. Intuitive Shipping aims to serve any Shopify merchant, regardless of dropshipping status or carrier needs, offering advanced customization options and personalized onboarding support. The massive disparity in ratings (1.3/5 vs. 5/5) and number of reviews (15 vs. 435) strongly suggest significant differences in user satisfaction and app maturity.

Our Verdict
For merchants exclusively using BigBuy's dropshipping platform and needing a simple, automated shipping cost calculation for supported carriers, BigBuy ‑ Dropshipping carriers *might* be a viable option, despite the low rating. However, the significant limitations and poor user feedback suggest caution.
Intuitive Shipping is the clear choice for any Shopify merchant requiring flexibility, customization, and robust features to manage complex shipping scenarios. Its high rating, numerous positive reviews, and emphasis on personalized support indicate a well-developed and reliable solution. While it may require a more involved setup process, the investment appears worthwhile for businesses seeking to optimize their checkout experience and gain control over shipping costs.
