Our Verdict
For merchants heavily invested in WhatsApp marketing and seeking comprehensive abandoned cart recovery and loyalty solutions with AI-powered features, bitCRM WhatsApp Abandoned Cart is the more suitable option, despite the lower review count. Its integration with Shopify Flow also appeals to advanced users needing complex automation.
Conversely, ExpressText Connect is a better choice for merchants prioritizing simple, effective SMS marketing with targeted campaigns and strong customer support. The higher rating and larger number of reviews suggest a generally positive user experience. If SMS is the primary communication channel, ExpressText Connect's data syncing and ease of use make it a more compelling choice. The focus on dedicated support also makes it ideal for merchants who value personalized assistance.
