bitCRM WhatsApp Abandoned Cart vs Facebook Bulk Messages DMBookfor Shopify (2026)
bitCRM WhatsApp Abandoned Cart and Facebook Bulk Messages DMBook are both Shopify apps aimed at recovering abandoned carts and driving sales through messaging, but they target different platforms and use distinct approaches. bitCRM focuses on WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger, leveraging the official WhatsApp Cloud API and offering AI-powered chat tagging for CRM and upsells. It's positioned as a comprehensive messaging solution for advanced stores looking to automate complex flows using Shopify Flow. Facebook Bulk Messages DMBook, on the other hand, centers on Facebook and Instagram, emphasizing ease of use with a 1-click subscriber collection and focusing on bulk messaging and automated campaigns for abandoned carts, price drops, and restock alerts. Facebook Bulk Messages DMBook emphasizes collecting subscribers with a single click, which simplifies the onboarding process for both merchants and customers. It then automates a variety of marketing messages. bitCRM positions itself as a more robust CRM solution integrated with Shopify flow, indicating a focus on more advanced stores who want to automate all aspects of their customer communication. The relative low number of reviews (3 and 4 respectively) indicates that both apps are either new or targeting a niche group of Shopify store owners. It is difficult to assess the validity of these apps until they have collected more reviews from a wider range of users.

Our Verdict
If you are a Shopify merchant who prioritizes WhatsApp as a primary communication channel, requires advanced automation capabilities, and wants AI-powered CRM features, bitCRM WhatsApp Abandoned Cart may be the better choice. However, if you are looking for a simpler solution focused on Facebook and Instagram marketing with a 1-click subscriber collection and automated campaign options, Facebook Bulk Messages DMBook is likely the more suitable option. The current review counts are very low and indicate a need for caution when selecting either app.
Given that both have very few reviews, testing each app on a trial basis (if available) is highly recommended before committing to a paid plan.
