Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with recovering abandoned carts and engaging customers directly through messaging platforms like WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger, bitCRM WhatsApp Abandoned Cart appears to be the more suitable option. Its focus on AI-driven personalization and pre-built flows simplifies the process. However, the low number of reviews and average rating are significant caveats. Notifications by Modd Apps excels in scenarios where complex, event-triggered notifications and internal automation are crucial. If a store requires sophisticated workflows to manage orders, update customer data, or communicate with suppliers, Notifications by Modd Apps provides the necessary flexibility and control, assuming the merchant has some coding experience with Liquid or is willing to learn.
