Bitmeli ML vs Exporto ‑ Products data exportfor Shopify (2026)
Bitmeli ML and Exporto ‑ Products data export are both 5-star rated apps, but they cater to fundamentally different needs within the Shopify ecosystem. Bitmeli ML is designed for merchants already selling on Mercado Libre who want to seamlessly integrate their products and sales data into a Shopify store. Its strength lies in automated synchronization of product information and bulk actions like applying discounts. Exporto, on the other hand, focuses on exporting product data for use on various marketing and sales platforms like Google Merchant Center and Facebook Product Feed. It provides granular control over data formatting and filtering. The primary difference lies in the direction of data flow: Bitmeli ML imports *from* Mercado Libre *to* Shopify, while Exporto exports *from* Shopify *to* external platforms.

Our Verdict
For merchants heavily invested in the Mercado Libre ecosystem seeking a simple way to expand to Shopify, Bitmeli ML is the clear choice. It automates the tedious task of product migration and synchronization, saving significant time and reducing errors. However, if your priority is to optimize product data for marketing across multiple platforms like Google Shopping or social media, Exporto is the superior option. Its highly customizable data feeds and powerful filtering capabilities allow you to tailor your product information for each platform's specific requirements. Exporto is suited for merchants with some technical proficiency or a need for highly specific data exports.
Common Questions
Can Bitmeli ML be used to update products on Mercado Libre from Shopify?
Based on the description, Bitmeli ML focuses on importing and synchronizing data *from* Mercado Libre to Shopify. It doesn't explicitly state the ability to push updates *from* Shopify back to Mercado Libre.
Does Exporto support exporting product data to Amazon?
The description mentions compatibility with Google Merchant Center, Facebook Product Feed, Glami, Heureka, Zbozi, Mall, Skroutz, and Vivino. Amazon is not explicitly listed, suggesting that specific configuration might be needed or that it isn't a primary supported platform out-of-the-box.
Is it possible to maintain different product descriptions on Mercado Libre and Shopify using Bitmeli ML?
Yes, the description explicitly states: "You can maintain differentiated prices on Mercado Libre and your online store". While it refers to price, this implies the flexibility to manage other attributes like descriptions differently as well, although automated synchronization of existing data may require careful initial setup to prevent overwriting.
What format can I export my products from shopify with Exporto?
Exporto lets you export your products in XML or other formats.
Which app is easier to set up?
Bitmeli ML appears to be simpler to set up due to its focus on a specific platform (Mercado Libre) and automated synchronization. Exporto likely requires more configuration due to its broader range of output formats and customization options.
